Description: NASCAR Pickem Pool is an ASP application that allows you to run a complete NASCAR Winston Cup Points pool right from your site. Once your visitors sign up to play, they make their picks on a weekly basis, earning the same number of Winston Cup points as the driver they picked. This program is a great way to guarantee repeat visitors to your website, as they will be making their picks on a weekly basis. Players in the contest earn points based on what their driver earns. For example, if a player picks Dale Earnhardt Jr. to win a race, and he wins it, the player earns 180 points towards their total (175 for the win, 5 for a "lap led"). If Jr. led the most laps, then the player would earn an additional 5 bonus points. Player standings are sorted by total points, but average points and wins are also tracked on the player standings page, so you can run your pool any way you wish.
